In recent years it became obvious that Transylvania is standing on the edge of a huge tourism boom. What brings most of our guests here is the feeling of a living, breathing time capsule this region inspires. But isn’t this its biggest vulnerability in the face of mass tourism? Will Transylvania's multifaceted countryside with its hand-managed hay meadows, traditional architecture and daily life, so rich in traditions be the same after the flood gates open? We consider that the only healthy and long-term approach is responsible travel.
